1. Who Is the Trainer - Really?
Look beyond the website. How many years has the trainer worked directly with families? Are there books, seminars, videos and public work you can see for yourself?
You are not just buying a course. You are learning a way of thinking from one person. Make sure it is someone whose work you respect.
2. Is There Live Learning and Practice?
Coaching is a conversation skill. You cannot learn swimming by watching videos, and you cannot learn coaching only by reading slides. Check if the program has live sessions, role-plays and feedback on your practice.
3. Does the Curriculum Cover the Full Picture?
A strong program covers child brain development, emotional intelligence, age-wise challenges, communication tools, coaching frameworks, and real Indian family situations - joint families, board exam pressure, screen addiction.
4. Are Ethics and Boundaries Taught?
A responsible coach knows what they should not handle. The course should teach you when to refer a family to a child psychologist, counsellor or doctor. This protects families - and protects you.

Many people finish a course and then ask, "Now what?" Check whether the program shows you how to find your first clients, run workshops, design sessions and present yourself professionally.
6. Is There a Community After the Course?
Coaching can feel lonely at the start. A community of fellow coaches - to share cases, ask questions and stay motivated - is often worth as much as the course itself.
